Welcome to my page of inventions.
Right off the bat, I want you to know, not all of these products have seen the light of the marketplace. I wanted to show you some of the things I have thought of throughout the last 20 years. Some good, some bad. Most abandoned and some, I have offered for sale. What you see below are not actual patents, but brief descriptions and various aspects of the invention process. Each invention highlights name, costs, reason for building, and current status. I hope being able to view my inventions, encourage you to keep inventing. No invention was a failure, for each one, I always learned something new about the invention process, the marketplace and myself. Happy Inventing! The 21 Day Inventor
The Safety Vest came about when i would work with power corded tools like hedge clippers and powers saws. I wanted to figure out a way to control where the cord would go, so I wouldn’t cut it and damage the tool.
How do you store your sports equipment?
It started with a pop sound? It was me running over my favorite basketball, left on the ground in my driveway. I had just driven over it by accident. I wanted a way to store our 3 children’s ever increasing group of sports balls, and utilize the corner of the garage where unused space was available. after looking at various types of sports ball holders, I decided to create my own.
Hold the door please!
This was a simple fun idea I came up with while using some parts I had saved in my “parts box”. The goal was to keep the user from bending over and injuring their back to move a door stop.
Sour Cream was the enemy.
If you have ever eaten sour cream, you know when scooping it out of the container with a spoon, it always seems that the majority of sour cream remains on the spoon and not on the food you want to eat, ( for me its tacos). so, I came up with a design to allow the user to scoop, and squeeze the sour cream onto the food, while allowing the user to use the majority of the amount scooped.
Spills, Clogs, and drips.
This is not a unique idea however, it was something easy to create and had many reasons for usage. We loved our George Foreman Grille. But, we hated the grease that remained. When finished using the grille grease remained and disposing of it created problems. You should not pour it in drains due to clogs, taking it to the trash can, it would spill, and once in the trash bag it would drip out the bottom of the bag. The pads catch the grease and make it easy to dispose of.
